Are there seriously any moviegoers out there who went to see Avatar who have since asked themselves “oh, I really wonder what happened to those blue guys”? No matter whether there’s a fan base or not, people will now get an answer to that very question.
Earlier this week, film director James Cameron announced that he will be making four sequels to his original 2009 box-office hit Avatar. According to Variety, the sequels will have a tight schedule—after 2018’s film, the following films will be released in December 2020, 2022, and 2023.
