Latest music purchases: an incredible Walton album and violin concertos by Britten and Weinberg.
Herbert Blomstedt will conduct Beethoven’s 4th at the upcoming Baltic Sea festival. He’s already booked for Beethoven’s 7th in late May 2015. Not bad for an 87 year old.
