Last 2 weeks really just flew by. In between Skype meetings, in-person meetings, work and some brief stints with social activities, here are some thoughts on a few select things that have sort of stuck with me:
This year’s Baltic Sea Festival program seemed a bit dull, and didn’t really provide that many interesting concerts that would make me interested enough to go – except for the Saturday’s Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Radio Symphony Orchestra in a Beethoven program. Nice to see so many familiar acquaintances after the summer break.
Yes, Michael Douglas really shines in Behind the Candelabra. Too bad it’s ineligible for the Academy Awards.
Archer is clever, funny, dark and cynical. Available on Netflix.
Meeting new interesting individuals can sometimes be… overwhelming. And I mean that in a truly positive way.
