HDR at Flickr

There’s no denying I’m a fan o Flickr. There’s a photo-pool at Flickr devoted to a Photoshop plugin that has accumulated hundreds of amazing pictures. The “High Dynamic Range” plugin merges several shots of the same scene taken at different exposures, resulting in pictures that have breathtaking, vivid colors. The HDR pool is filled with examples of the form, and discussions of the best way to capture great HDR images.

At the moment, this astonishing picture of Tokyo at night is getting much attention. Make sure to view it at full size.
