FedEx delivered the future yesterday wrapped in a small but perfectly packaged parcel from Apple. My brand new iPad is really all I expected it to be, and then some; I couldn’t help laughing out loud when I started using Pages and got to try out the keyboard… I don’t think there’s any real difference from using a real keyboard, and anyone claiming it’s not a delight to use haven’t really tried it out yet.
The potential in this entirely new device just boggles the mind. I haven’t had the time to fully start exploring some of the apps I’ve downloaded yet, but I do know this device will fundamentally change the way we use computers.
