The latest counter-terrorism PR campaign complete with anti-photography propaganda from London’s Metropolitan police is rather troubling to say the least. People are encouraged to turn in “odd” seeming people that they see taking photographs.
These days though, it doesn’t take long until the critics are out – Boing Boing reports that remixes of the posters from the campaign are already hitting Flickr. And some of them are brilliant in the way they point out the absurdity of it all (and there’s even some LOLCats in there as well).
