Notes on New York, October 2015

This most recent trip to New York has been as wonderful, intense, beautiful, and at times as surreal as any previous visit; seeing drag queens flying across a stage; attending a rockabilly concert; being asked to watch a stranger’s pitbull at a café; in a heated discussion with a jew and two black guys in Harlem regarding interracial dating; having lunch on a rooftop terrace with a sunlit One World Trade Center as backdrop – – –
