Several highly interesting musical events this upcoming week: the counter tenor Philippe Jaroussky will open this year’s Stockholm Early Music Festival on Wednesday June 9 with a Purcell recital; conductor Gustavo Dudamel will perform Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring with his Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela at the Concert Hall on Sunday June 11, and jazz legend Wayne Shorter is part of the otherwise rather boring line-up at the Stockholm Jazz Festival on Monday June 12.
