A few days ago, Danish newspaper Information made the case for going digital fairly obvious by filling its front page with an image of the iPad.
The supporting article (in English here) details how free newspapers are killing paid competition, and makes the case for online distribution and micropayments. TIME wrote about the idea a few weeks ago, and The New York Times has published an interesting article on the subject, Can Micropayments Save Newspapers? Still untested on a large scale, it’s an idea that’s well worth investigating.
