Wednesday Miscellanea, snowy NY edition

Last night, another concert – Anne-Sophie Mutter played Brahms’ Violin Concerto to a sold out Carnegie Hall. Although I’ve heard this piece a gazillion times before, Mutter managed to make it sound new and different. The Pittsburgh Tribune called her “highly individual“.

What better way to enjoy a very snowy afternoon in NY than to stay inside and cuddle up in front of a live performance with the Berlin Philharmonic and Mitsuko Uchida playing some Beethoven. Ah, the internets!

Finally, Apple has released a much anticipated upgrade to Aperture. Among the interesting new stuff is the introduction of non-destructive, edge-aware Brushes, adjustment presets and a full-screen browser.
