Some light pondering

The Proms started yesterday, and the whole schedule is somewhat overwhelming – but in a good way of course. From John Adams and Adès to Xenakis, there definitely seems to be something for every taste.

Looks like I’m the last person on earth to actually read the Millennium series by Stieg Larsson.

Holy smokes! – At the moment, a return trip to Bonaire in August with KLM can be yours for 2,500 dollars.

Oh my – more than 600 updates on Twitter so far. And 470 posts (including this one) on this web site – out of those a total of 50 were done in June alone, which must be some kind of personal record.

Hmm – the whole first season (13 episodes!) of Mad Men is available on iTunes for a mere $22.99. I just might get it.

GTS Celebrity Constellation arrived in Stockholm this morning to set thousands of gay men free after a week’s cruising with Atlantis Events.

Gavin Bryar and Philip Jeck‘s The Sinking Of The Titanic, (“a conceptual masterpiece”, Touch), is strangely soothing and addictive.
