Presently…

…these are the things on my mind:

should I apply for a membership with the RSKV? It gives access to quite a few rehearsals over the coming months, with big names like Yefim Bronfman, Anne-Sofie von Otter, Radu Lupu and Herbert Blomstedt.

On Thursday the Royal College of Music are giving a special Sing-a-long-Messiah. I like the initiative but think I’ll pass. On their webpage they encourage people to bring their own sheet music – so what if someone brings the 1742 Dublin version?! In combination with the obligatory glögg (mulled wine) I think it can turn into quite the memorable evening though.

Fairly busy week ahead: there will be some wrestling with various FileMaker calculations again, Christmas cards have to be sent out, and then there’s the eMusic subscription that I just enrolled in again after a few months of hiatus, which means deciding on what to download.

I recently purchased OmniFocus and a few weeks ago I started doing weekly reviews every Sunday evening. It’s a nice way of organizing and getting an overview of the upcoming week, and I believe that I’ve actually become more productive (although maybe I should give up those lattes to reduce the risk of any procrastination)…

Hi and welcome to my online bricolage. Here I’ll go on about anything from music to software and photography. It is essentially an online addition of sorts to my own personal diary.
