After a recent upgrade of a client’s database to FileMaker Pro 14, there’s no reason to keep FileMaker Pro 11 around anymore. This in turn means there’s no reason to not upgrade OS X to 10.11 anymore. I’ve waited with upgrading Notes in iOS as they weren’t compatible with OS X 10.10, but the wait is finally over. And all I can say is – the iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil, and Notes were so made for each other.
Currently in a watching movies mode: Star Wars: The Force Awakens managed to be all I hoped it to be; The Martian was too long and not very engaging (and seriously, what’s up with Ridley Scott’s obsession with operating on stomachs?); Spectre was even longer och so very, very boring (yeah I know, a Bond movie, right?), and Steve Jobs was… honestly, I don’t know what that was. Avoid is all I can say.
Looking forward to the new direction that David Bowie seems to be taking.
